My Story
I started Kate Melody Photography because I love being part of people's biggest days, camera in hand, usually laughing right along with everyone else. There's something pretty awesome about being invited into people's lives, making them feel comfortable, and giving them photos they'll love for years to come. Over the years, what began as a passion has grown into a business built on trust, connection, and over a decade of experience photographing weddings, families, and life's biggest milestones.
The Team
Over the years, I've built a small group of talented, trusted second photographers who I genuinely enjoy working with. We know how to have a good time while getting the job done, whether that means wrangling family members for group photos, catching the little things happening in the background, or knowing exactly when to step back and let the day unfold. The goal is simple: great photos, a relaxed atmosphere, and making sure you can enjoy your day without worrying about what's happening behind the camera.

Since 2013 we have specialized in wedding and portrait photography. We offer a variety of photography services, including family, engagement, maternity, and senior photos.
